Harry Edward Styles is an English singer, songwriter and musician from England. He was part of One Direction. Harry Styles was born in Holmes Chapel, Cheshire, England on the 1st of February 1994, and is the father of Des Styles and Anne Cox. Harry Styles went to the Holmes Chapel Comprehensive school, together with his fellow classmates, created a band group dubbed White Eskimo. White Eskimo won 2009's Battle of Bands thanks to the impressive presentation they made. Although he has always been interested in the music world, despite his passion for it he wanted also to pursue a career as a lawyer and physiotherapist. While working at the city's baker, Harry Styles was able to provide for his family. Harry Styles performed Is not She Lovely (Stevie Wonder) at the auditions of 2010 in The X Factor. This meant that the group he was in had to be disbanded. Nicole Scherzinger was the judge who recommended Harry Styles to be part of a new group named One Direction, along with Liam Payne Zayn malik Niall Horan Louis Tomlinson. The group's creation began in 2010. The five youngsters were sponsored by Simon Cowell. The group performed Kelly Clarkson's My Life Would be Sucking Without You along with Bonnie Tyler Total Eclipse of the Heart. The result, they made it to the finalist. But they came in third place, just behind Rebecca Ferguson. Harry Styles did not receive any cash prize. However, Cowell has offered a two million-pound contract to One Direction in order for the group to be a part of Syco Records.
